Emerald Island Resort is a popular gated community set in lush conservation area within  2 miles of Disneyworld in Kissimmee.  This spacious air-conditioned two storey vacation home provides everything you need for a wonderful family holiday.  Our home is perfectly located just a 30 minute drive from Orlando International Airport and 5 minutes from Disneyworld. 

With 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 guests, (plus pull out sofa bed for 2 further guests),  games room, widescreen tvs, wifi access, pool and spa plus all the resort facilities on hand like tennis courts, clubhouse pool and arcade, it makes an ideal choice for families - share the cost with friends - it is more economical than a hotel and much more fun!

Relax by the pool - the spa is a great place to unwind at the end of a busy day at the parks.  Cushioned loungers and patio furniture is provided plus large gas BBQ to enjoy eating al fresco!

Why stay in a cramped hotel room- our air-conditioned home offers plenty of room for the whole family. 

Home entertainment includes cable tv /dvd to all bedrooms and living areas, games room and loft with further widescreen tv,  Playstation 2 .  Games and dvd selection provided.

As well as the kitchen breakfast bar and dining suite overlooking the pool deck there is a separate formal dining room.

Florida is the number one vacation destination for families from all over the world.  It's not just the climate or even the wonderful world of Disney which attract visitors but the whole Floridian way of life!  Not interested in the many theme parks?  No problem!  Rather be on the golf course?  There are many within a short drive of our vacation home.  You can shop til you drop at the malls and discount designer outlets.  It's only an hour or so to the beach on either coast for golden sand, fishing, the Space Center and then there are the wonderful State National Parks.........  Two weeks are never long enough - that's why we discount for families who book a third week!  Why stay in a cramped hotel room with no facilities when you can be in a home with a pool just 10 minutes from Disney?

Everyone knows Florida as the home of Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney family.  First time visitors are always amazed at the sheer size of Disney and its many parks such as Animal Kingdom, MGM, Epcot Centre and water parks - not forgetting  family attractions such as Downtown Disney with its nightclubs, restaurants and shops. Want to see a lifesize spaceship made out of Lego?  or maybe a dinosaur soaring into the sky?  Go to Downtown and you will!  There are pavement fountains which spring up as you step over them, a Disney art gallery to browse and perhaps buy a memento of your stay... it's not all t-shirts and stuffed toys!   Hungry?  How about dining at a themed restaurant like Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe!
